Perennial Pictures and Alita’s Brand Bar join forces to bring the animated Crawford the Cat series into more homes and schools as it seeks new distribution partners and expands its program with new merchandise licensing partners.

Crawford the Cat is a character that stars in educational health and social skills videos for preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary students. Through the use of online games, printable coloring pages, virtual books, and entertaining videos, and an iOS app for iPad, Crawford imparts simple lessons on personal grooming, manners, exercise, and nutrition. The 13 five-minute episodes have been viewed more than 8 million times on the Crawford the Cat website. Scripts for extended 30-minute episodes and a Christmas special are ready for content distribution.

Perennial Pictures Film Corporation, a producer of animated television specials, commercials, and limited series, produces the Crawford’s Corner series of shorts. In 2002, the Crawford the Cat animated series was initially launched for entertainment and aired on the Discovery Channel in the UK.

Alita’s Brand Bar will be attending Kidscreen and New York Toy Fair to meet with potential content distributors. Partnerships with preschools and corporate sponsorships will be established in order to continue to expand the lesson plans and materials available to teachers and parents. Crawford’s content is available for international translation and content distribution.
