Outfit7 Adds New Execs

Outfit7 has expanded its European management team with the appointment of two new executives at its U.K. subsidiary to oversee the global licensing portfolio and brand strategy for Talking Tom and Talking Friends. Angeles Blanco has been appointed senior licensing director and Randeep Sidhu has been named senior brand director.

As senior licensing director for the EMEA region, Blanco will manage Outfit7’s licensing strategy and build the roster of licensees and agents for the Talking Tom and Talking Friends brands across the region. She will also oversee licensing in Latin America. Blanco joins Outfit7 from DHX Media, where she was director of licensing.

In the newly created role of senior brand director, Sidhu will advise on the global brand management of Outfit7’s portfolio of products. He will work with the company’s regional teams to develop the global brand strategy and positioning for Talking Tom, Talking Friends, and new Outfit7 entertainment properties under development. Sidhu previously worked as a brand strategy consultant for Calling Brands and Lippincott, where he worked with clients that included IKEA, Samsung, and the London Stock Exchange.

Dunecraft Names Taylor COO

DuneCraft has appointed Sam Taylor as COO. In this newly created role, Taylor will be responsible for coordinating the overall operations of DuneCraft and implementing broad-based innovative strategies to continue the company’s growth.

Prior to joining DuneCraft, Taylor completed his undergraduate work in linguistics and computer science and attended law school, where he focused on general law and business operations. A native to San Diego, Taylor has worked in developing and servicing client needs, executing projects and transactions, and creating and maintaining overall operations for a variety of local and national clients.

Endemol North America Expands Team

Endemol North America has hired Tami Thosath and Danielle Nicholson as franchise managers to expand the lifecycle of Endemol North America brands such as Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, Fear Factor, Steve Harvey, and Wipeout. Thosath and Nicolson will report to Kimilyn Whitaker, Endemol’s global head of franchise management. Thosath and Nicholson will implement overall strategies to enhance Endemol’s television brand profiles with licensees to deliver innovative branded products and experiences to market. In their new roles, Thosath and Nicholson will drive the licensing business for Endemol North America’s unscripted, scripted, and syndicated series. They will oversee category management, brand and franchise management, and licensee relationships. They will work with respective broadcast partners to deliver compelling and innovative branded consumer products and initiatives to market. Nicholson will also focus on implementing programs for consumer products, including gaming, sponsorship integrations, and live events.

Thosath previously served as franchise manager of consumer products and merchandising at MGA Entertainment, managing brands including Bratz, Lalaloopsy, and Little Tikes.

Nicholson joins Endemol after serving as an event marketing and business development executive in the video game industry, where she held positions at RSA Films and Xsolla.
