McFarlane, Epic Games Team for Fortnite Premium Collectibles
McFarlane Toys announced a new partnership with Epic Games to create a range of Fortnite premium collectible figures, related accessories, and resin statues, in a deal brokered by IMG.
The new Fortnite-branded collection will feature seven-inch premium figures from the Fortnite franchise and high-end accessories. Launching this fall, the collection will be available for purchase from mass retail stores.
Fortnite is the action building game from Epic Games that lets you drop into a massive 100-player PVP Battle Royale or team up with friends in a co-op campaign to save the world against a horde of monsters. Fortnite™ Battle Royale is free and available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS, and soon, Android.
British Gymnastics Powers Up with The Powerpuff Girls
British Gymnastics and Cartoon Network have teamed up in a new joint venture to inspire and reward gymnasts across the country, with the help of the The Powerpuff Girls.
The POW! Academy, launching this fall, is a new initiative aimed at young gymnasts ages 5–11. The POW! Academy challenges gymnasts to show off their talents and focus on bringing the skills they’ve learned in their gymnastics lessons into creative sequences. Every time a gymnast successfully achieves a new level, they’ll be rewarded through a new badge and certificate scheme.
The partnership and POW! Academy was launched at British Gymnastics headquarters with characters from the series, star gymnasts Ellie Downie and Hamish Carter, and an inaugural taster session for local gymnasts.
The POW! Academy will be available exclusively to member organizations beginning this fall. This partnership will see additional activities and initiatives established throughout the three-year period.
