GreenLight Signs Ali

GreenLight, a global media licensing, talent negotiation, and rights representation consultancy, announced that it has been selected to represent Muhammad Ali in Europe and Asia Pacific.

GreenLight will handle advertising and promotional opportunities for personality rights and trademarks, including Ali’s name, image, likeness, signatures, and characterizations, on an exclusive basis in Europe and Asia Pacific. Muhammad Ali Enterprises (MAE) selected GreenLight, which conducts thousands of clearances every year for clients worldwide, for its global network of licensing connections.

Through the agreement, MAE and GreenLight’s parent company, Corbis Images, a leading visual media provider for the creative community, will share reciprocal access to each other’s historic collections of Ali digital media. This will provide clients easy access to the best Ali images and video of the legendary athlete and his journey throughout the decades.

Muhammad Ali is a former American boxer and three-time World Heavyweight Champion, who is widely considered one of the greatest heavyweight championship boxers ever. As an amateur, he won a gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. After turning professional, he went on to become the first boxer to win the lineal heavyweight championship three times. He was named sports person of the century by Sports Illustrated, the BBC, and GQ among others.

Sesame Workshop eBook Subscription Plan Announced

Sesame Workshop and Impelsys are introducing a new monthly subscription to the Sesame Street eBookstore that provides unlimited access for $3.99. The eBookstore, run and managed by Impelsys, contains a library of more than 125 Sesame Street eBooks, with new titles added on a regular basis.

The eBookstore features a collection of fun and educationally rich Sesame Street titles such as Elmo’s ABC Book, Abby in Wonderland, and Grover’s Guide to Good Eating. eBook titles cover 19 subject areas including letters, numbers, counting, colors, and cultural appreciation.
