Mattel, Inc (NASDAQ: MAT) announced Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase, Mattel Television Studios’ all-new animated children’s series, will debut globally on Netflix this fall. Featuring an all-new animation style and storyline, Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase will consist of eight 25-minute episodes.
Audible, a leading provider of spoken word entertainment, has announced Peppa Pig’s Play-A-Long Podcast, the first release as part of a podcasting deal with leading toy and game company, Hasbro. Hasbro, Inc (NASDAQ: HAS), a leading toy and game company, and Secret Location, a Toronto-based, Emmy Award-winning content studio, have partnered to launch Lite-Brite: Worlds of Wonder, an all-new, immersive show, at Illuminarium Las Vegas on June 5th. The 60-minute experience will combine the nostalgic delight of Lite-Brite with cutting-technology, designed to inspire child-like wonder, creativity and fun for kids and adults alike.
Academy Award-nominated French animation studio Xilam Animation has greenlit its brand-new adventure comedy Submarine Jim, following the signing of its first pre-sales for the series with European broadcasters France Télévisions (France) and Super RTL (Germany). Xilam Animation is now commencing production on the 52 x 11’ 2D animation, which targets kids aged 6-9 years old and is set to be delivered by Q2 2026.
Sesame Workshop, the global impact nonprofit behind Sesame Street, announced the latest expansion of their multi-year commitment to the emotional well-being of young children, building on a long history of support in this critical area. New resources launched on sesame.org during Mental Health Awareness Month expand on existing emotional well-being resources for children and families, providing both everyday tools and strategies centered in helping children process what is happening around them when serious concerns arise.

The popular series provides kids with the questioning power through one-on-one interviews with a variety of interesting people.
Academy Award-nominated French animation studio Xilam Animation has secured a wave of European public broadcast partners for its upcoming CG preschool proprietary series Piggy Builders, with France Télévisions(France), BBC (UK) and ZDF (Germany) on board as commissioning broadcasters. The 52 x 11’ series was first pitched by Xilam Animation at Cartoon Forum in 2021 and is now set to be delivered in Q3 2025 with Romain Villemaine as the director (Ricky Zoom, Maya the Bee, Valiant). The first episodes will be release at the upcoming MIPCOM (October 2024).
