Precious Moments, M.Z. Berger in Deal

Precious Moments, Inc., announced a recent licensing agreement with M.Z. Berger & Co. Under the agreement, M.Z. Berger, a design, marketing, and distribution company specializing in timepieces and accessories, will produce and distribute clocks and wall art featuring Precious Moments artwork.

Dow Chemical Signs Beanstalk for Program

The Dow Chemical Company announced that it has selected Beanstalk, a global brand licensing consultancy, to assist in the development of a comprehensive consumer product line for the home improvement and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) markets. Planned to launch in 2011, the program will extend the Dow Brand as well as the Great Stuff Insulating Foam Sealant and SafeTouch fiberglass-free insulation through licensees.

The interior and exterior home improvement licensing program will reach consumers through home improvement and hardware retail channels that mirror Dow’s core distribution, such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace, True Value, and Walmart, among others.

Wildflower Group Signs Pillow Pets

The Wildflower Group, a licensing and branding agency, signed Pillow Pets, the all-in-one plush toy/pillow line. The Wildflower Group has already signed agreements with Commonwealth Toy & Novelty Co. and SG Footwear for new product ranges based on the plush. The initial licensed collections are slated to launch at retail in early 2011.

The Pillow Pets line encompasses more than 20 different soft and cuddly friends. Each features a Velcro strap closure underneath the character that transforms the 100 percent chenille toy into a full-sized pillow. The straps can then be easily reattached to transition the pillow back to a plush pal.

The Wildflower Group is now in discussions with potential licensing partners for Pillow Pets in numerous categories, including apparel (sleepwear) & accessories, bedding, health & beauty aids, publishing, stationery, paper party goods, and video games.

Stone America Signs TKO

Stone America Licensing announced that it has been appointed as the exclusive licensing agent by Technical Knockout, Inc., known as TKO, which offers fitness, strength, and boxing equipment.

“With an iconic name and universal brand recognition from product placement on many high-profile television shows, we are confident TKO will become a licensing success across numerous categories,” said Rob Stone, president of Stone America Licensing, in a statement.

Pink Cookie, Intimo Deal

CopCorp Licensing announced that Intimo Licensing, Inc., has been granted the right to manufacture and market Pink Cookie junior sleepwear, daywear, loungewear, underwear, and robes.
