Sesame Workshop Names Headstart as Regional Licensee

Sesame Workshop has named Headstart International as its new regional toy licensee for Australia and New Zealand.

Headstart will focus on creating a range of Sesame Street plush across price points to build a strong presence with major retailers.

Haven, Sesame Workshop’s licensing representative in the territories which helped broker the deal, will continue to implement Sesame Street’s overall brand strategy and licensing programs in the market. Sesame Street airs twice daily in the region on ABC Kids at 9am and 12pm.

Tetris Company Names Branding Streams as Merchandising Agent

The Tetris Company, LLC, announced that it has named Branding Streams as its merchandising agent for the Tetris brand in Canada. Branding Streams will work on creating new product merchandising and promotional opportunities for a variety of categories, including toys, health and beauty, apparel, home décor, party goods, and more.

Intellivision Products, T-Line Design in Deal

Licensing Works! has brokered a new deal for client Intellivision Productions, Inc., awarding T-Line Design the right to manufacture and sell key categories including T-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear, swimwear, and headwear.

Initial product offerings include a mix of elevated Intellivision designs along with nostalgic over-washed game box cover art. These new designs will be shown to retail buyers beginning January 2, 2017, and initially exhibited by T-Line in February during MAGIC in Las Vegas. Licensed territories include the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Channels of distribution licensed include mass, specialty, department, mid-tier, and more.

New Deals for Fuller Brush Company

fullerbrushAmerican heritage brand, The Fuller Brush Company is broadening its “Live Fuller” licensing campaign with books, cleaning tools, and bath products. Publications International signed a multi-book deal on Fuller Cleaning Tips to hit the market in the spring, and Tacony has extended their successful license of quality vacuum products. The SAS Group launches hard floor sweepers in 2017 through direct response channels, and Popular Bath Products has signed on for bath and kitchen items.
