Paramount CP Celebrates ‘Reindeer in Here’ with Target Exclusive Product Line

Paramount Consumer Products announced the launch of an array of exclusive products to celebrate the upcoming premiere of the CBS Original Reindeer in Here, a one-hour animated holiday special starring Adam Devine premiering Tuesday, November 29 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+. Families can start a new holiday tradition with a keepsake deluxe giftable book and plush set that comes with a timeless picture book, along with a lovable, huggable plush Reindeer, complete with air holes for the Reindeer to breathe on its long trip from the North Pole into children’s arms to spend the entire month of December together. This deluxe edition also includes coloring sheets, stickers, and a photo ornament sold exclusively at Target. Additional products inspired by Reindeer in Here, will include pajama sets, cozy throw blankets, and two standalone plush characters; a “Blizzard Plush” reindeer with two mismatched antlers, and a “Pinky Plush,” the only all pink reindeer at the North Pole. All of these items are also available exclusively at Target and Target.com.

People of Play Announce Winners of the 15th Annual TAGIE Awards

More than 300 people from 20 countries gathered under the lights at the Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago, and another 260 via livestream, to celebrate and honor the winners of People of Play’s 15th annual Toy & Game International Excellence Awards (The TAGIE Awards). The event, which was back in person for the first time in two years, was sponsored by Disney, Oxford Games, Mattel, The Michael Kohner Corporation, Hasbro, TOMY, Longshore, Nextoy, Spin Master, Super Impulse, Backdrop.com, Peggy Brown Creative and Barry and Jason.

Global Sales of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet for Nintendo Switch Surpass 10 Million in First Three Days

Nintendo has announced that global sales of the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games for the Nintendo Switch family of systems have surpassed 10 million combined units in the first three days since their worldwide launch on Nov. 18, 2022. This is the highest global sales level for any software on any Nintendo platform within the first three days. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the latest mainline games in the Pokémon series, releasing three years after the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games, also for Nintendo Switch. In these newest titles, which welcome series newcomers and veterans alike, players experience a unique open-world Pokémon adventure for the first time in the franchise.

Endemol Shine North America’s Senior Vice President Tamaya Petteway has added oversight of the studio’s licensing team for a second time and industry veteran Chris Lucero has joined the Banijay-owned studio as Executive Director of Licensing Partnerships. Petteway, who has been with Endemol Shine North America since 2015 and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Brand and Digital Partnerships, has taken on oversight of the studio’s licensing department for a second time. Petteway, who formerly led the company’s licensing initiatives from April 2016-August 2019, will now lead the newly named Brand Partnerships, Licensing and Digital team for the studio.
