Pittsburgh-based Fred Rogers Productions is giving back to its “neighbors” as part of a special initiative in partnership with Pittsburgh-based clothing brand Steel City to benefit The Pittsburgh Foundation Emergency Action Fund.

Starting this week, specially-designed t-shirts featuring Fred Rogers Productions’ beloved series, Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, are being made available on the Steel City website.

The shirts include the saying, “Look for the Helpers,” the phrase first popularized by Mister Rogers and heard in Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, as well its spin-off series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, on PBS KIDS. It acknowledges the everyday heroes who help others in the face of an emergency. The new shirts are available in both child and adult sizes, so the whole family can show their neighborliness. All proceeds from sales of the shirts will go to The Pittsburgh Foundation Emergency Action Fund.
