The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) Board of Directors announced a change in the association’s leadership.
Sue Warfield has been promoted to Interim President of ASTRA, effective immediately. Kim Mosley was the previous President of ASTRA and is no longer employed by the organization.
Warfield has worked for more than 30 years in the toy industry in a variety of capacities including owning a store and serving as a sales representative. She most recently served as ASTRA’s Director of Member Services.
Warfield has relationships with all types of ASTRA members, and has a deep knowledge of and love for the specialty toy & game industry.
The ASTRA Board wishes to thank Warfield for serving in this capacity to help ASTRA move forward. She lives in Ely, Minnesota and will continue to work from her home. The board has full confidence in Warfield’s ability to help the association navigate the holiday selling season during the pandemic.
“I am grateful for Sue’s leadership at this time,” said Amy Saldanha, chair of the ASTRA Board. “Her expertise, relationships and knowledge of our industry is unparalleled and will serve ASTRA well in the coming year.”
A national search for a permanent appointment will begin in the Spring.
