Waboba Moon Ball Sales Reach 10 Million; Moonshine LED Version Launches

Waboba Moon Ball Moonshine

Since its soft launch by Waboba in 2012, the Moon Ball has become a world best-selling ball, making that milestone with now over 10 million sold.

“While it’s always been a popular activity toy, its popularity has zoomed with the onset of social media,” noted Jordan Sullivan, Waboba’s Director of Fun, “and there have been over one million views on TikTok, YouTube and more, all showing the wild tricks we didn’t even think were possible. To our surprise and delight, A-Rod used it in a baseball video showing people how to be a future Gold Glover, and Pink used one during her pandemic quarantine to play with her kids, so you might say we’re influencing the influencers.”

Indeed, after averaging about 900,000 balls sold annually for its first eight years, 2021 sales soared to over 1,500,000 balls, and already well over 1,000,000 this year.

Building on that success, Waboba has now introduced a new light-up version – “Moonshine” – enabling everyone to play in the dark. Just bounce it to activate the LED white strobe light and it stays lit for 7 seconds, then on to the next bounce.

Little wonder then, that there’s now a bounce in everyone’s step at Waboba as Moon Ball continues to set records.
