9 Story Distribution Secures New UK Home at CBeebies for Iconic Children’s Series ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’

9 Story Distribution International is pleased to announce that the beloved preschool series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood has been picked up by CBeebies and is now available to children across the UK on BBC iPlayer. 

 

After premiering on PBS KIDS in 2012, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is now in its sixth season and distributed in 180 countries around the world. The series is co-produced by Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Media Group and animated by 9 Story’s award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is created by Angela C. Santomero (Blue’s Clues, Super WHY!) and distributed by 9 Story Distribution International. Executive producers are Angela C. In addition to CBeebies, new licenses for Daniel tiger’s Neighborhood include RTE (Ireland), NRK (Norway), Crave TV (Canada), TVNZ (New Zealand), KT Corporation (Korea), LGU+ (Korea), K+ Kids (Vietnam), HKTVE (Hong Kong), MTVA (Hungary), and Menart (Slovenia). Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood offers engaging storylines modeling the core skills that form the foundation of early childhood development and school readiness. Daniel is a shy but brave 4-year-old tiger who lives in the beloved Neighborhood of Make Believe and with the help of his neighbors, family and friends – O-the Owl, Prince Wednesday, Miss Elaina and Katerina Kittycat, he learns valuable lessons that prepare him for school and life.
