Toy Monster International (TMI) have hired former Bandai exec Michael Ciminera to take on the Leadership position of President of North America (USA & Canada).
Working between NJ and TMI’s recently set up Bentonville hub, Michael Ciminera will oversee Sales, Business Development, Operations and Retail Marketing for the US and Canadian markets across the Toy, Licensing and Homewares divisions of The Monster Group. He reports into the Founder Nir Pizmony.
Ciminera has more than 30 years of experience in the Retail and Toy business. From his humble beginnings running a small family business, to consumer products giants like Hallmark Cards rapid expansion into mass channels, Michael Ciminera has worked across all facets of the industry. He helped lead the Activision Blizzard US Sales team for 12 years, taking them to new heights with the launch of iconic brands like Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Skylanders and World of Warcraft, setting some phenomenal benchmarks for success. During his most recent tenure at Bandai Namco, he has been responsible for commercializing the North American Sales, Export, Operations, Retail Marketing and Business Analytics teams in addition to managing a successful corporate merger.
