Moonbug Entertainment Ltd. and Amazon Kids+ — who recently launched their content partnership with the announcement of an ARPO Robot Babysitter series — announced a new collaboration with a focus on kids’ entertainer Blippi.

The two companies are creating a new, long-form episodic series called Blippi’s Treehouse, which will premiere exclusively on the Amazon Kids+ streaming service at a date that has not yet been announced.

“In just under a year, we have delivered on our promise to families around the world: bringing Blippi to more platforms, with new storylines, and even more great content,” said Andy Yeatman, Moonbug’s managing director of the Americas. Blippi’s contagious curiosity inspires kids everywhere to get excited about learning new things and we are thrilled by Amazon’s dedication to educational kids programming.”

Blippi started as an online live action, educational children’s show for kids ages 2-5 years old, eventually becoming one of the world’s most popular preschool entertainers and securing over 30 million dedicated followers. Blippi recently embarked on a live theater tour throughout the U.S. Music from both the on-screen show and live show is available on major platforms and has reached over 120 million streams.

Blippi’s content is available in eight languages on multiple streaming platforms. Blippi’s Treehouse will be the first series set outside the original YouTube show.
