Baby Genius to Become Prized Possessions

NANCO has been granted the rights to manufacture and distribute Baby Genius-themed soft-sculpt toys in various sizes to amusement channels throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, including amusement parks, carnivals, arcades, and crane redemption games.

This deal, which goes through 2012, was brokered by The Joester Loria Group, the exclusive licensing agency for the Baby Genius brand. The deal also encompasses additional categories, including key chains, beanbag toys, vinyl inflatable toys, rubber basketballs, and novelty play balls.

Febreze Signs On for Carpet Cleaning

The Proctor & Gamble Company has signed a new deal for Febreze. Through a deal brokered by Nancy Bailey & Associates, Home Care Industries has become the primary licensee for carpet cleaning solution. The deal encompasses carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning solutions for carpet cleaning machines.

Curious George Finds New Licensing Ventures

Universal Studios Partnerships & Licensing has secured a number of new licensees for the Curious George television series. In the U.S., Dalmatian Press has been signed to produce wall coverings, art supplies, coloring and activity books, crayons, markers, highlights, message boards, and posters. Ross Sportswear will be creating a full line of hats, caps, and headwear. Dr. Fresh will release a line of dental care products, including manual and battery-operated toothbrushes, musical and light-up toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, floss picks, mouthwash, and travel kits.

Internationally, House of Denmark will be producing non-candy snack food in Sweden for Curious George.
