Peanuts Worldwide Signs Seltzer Licensing Group

Peanuts Worldwide, a joint venture owned by Iconix Brand Group and members of the family of Charles Schulz, has signed Seltzer Licensing Group, to expand the brand’s presence in the food, beverage, and the health and beauty aid categories.

Seltzer Licensing Group will work closely with Peanuts to identify and secure new licensing partners. This will build upon some of the strong Peanuts partnerships with top manufacturers already in place, including Nestle (Chocolate Candy), Johnson & Johnson (Band-Aids), and PEZ (Candy Dispensers).

Zak Designs Unveils Back to School 2017

zak pokemon jetty bottleZak Designs unveiled its 2017 back to school line of products. The line will feature PAW Patrol, Disney’s Frozen, and Pokémon. There is a new embossed food container, which is large enough to fit anything from a sandwich to a serving of leftovers. The back to school collection also includes two different water bottle options. The 16.5-ounce Tritan bottle has a straw with a flip-up drinking spout while the new 14-ounce Jetty bottle has a twist-open cap with a soft silicone-drinking spout. They both feature a built-in carrying loop to make it easy to clip onto backpacks or sports bags. All of the items in the collection are BPA-free.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA and Panini announced a global deal for a series of new stickers and a trading card collection. The first launch is a 32-page album featuring the most beloved characters and beasts from across all the movies within J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, which is central to the new collection. In addition to the iconic scenes from the Harry Potter film series, the card collection includes key scenes from the upcoming feature film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The movie opens on November 18. A total of 240 stickers, including 96 specials, will be available for fans to collect. Each pack will contain five stickers. Panini’s J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World collection starts rolling out across the EMEA region this month.

Wish Factory Signed for Pets Rockpets rock

The Sharpe Company and Takkoda announced a licensing partnership between Wish Factory and Takkoda’s pet art collection Pets Rock. Pets Rock is a design property meshing pet imagery with pop culture. It has found success around the world in categories spanning greeting cards, housewares, apparel, and dated products. The range from Wish Factory will be merchandised as a collection and is set to include apparel for men, women, children and pets, fashion accessories, pet products, plush, and trend merchandise.

Wish Factory joins other Pets Rock licensees including TF Publishing, Papyrus Recycled Greetings, Culturenik, Trevco, and Empire Art Direct. The Sharpe Company represents Takkoda’s Pets Rock.
