Licensing Shop Hired Ries
The Licensing Shop, Inc., hired Alexandra Ries to support retail strategy and development for the Shopkins licensing program. Based in Dallas, Ries will work with Shopkins licensees and retailers to develop and coordinate exclusive multi-category merchandise programs.
Most recently she served as vice-president of sales, North America at PBS Distribution, managing the sales and retail business for PBS’ portfolio of brands, including PBS Kids (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Caillou, The Wild Kratts), Downton Abbey, Ken Burns, and many other properties for home entertainment. In addition to sales and retail development, she oversaw pricing strategy, retail marketing, and product development.
Prior to PBS, she was a founding member of NCircle Entertainment, where she ultimately led as vice-president of sales and business development.
