Green-Synowic Joins Product Greenhouse

The Product Greenhouse (TPG), a manufacturing, product development, and logistics company, announced that Ruth Green-Synowic has joined the company as director of licensing and product development. Green-Synowic will be responsible for managing key toy accounts as well as leading toy and game product development opportunities for TPG.

Prior to joining The Product Greenhouse, Green-Synowic has worked with Fortune 500 clients and individual business owners, designing and developing toys, packaging, marketing, and a variety of consumer product goods.

Green-Synowic has also held positions with Breslow, Morrison, and Terzian, CTI Industries, and The Marketing Store as vice-president, product development, managing the creative group in the design and development of global McDonald’s Happy Meal toys.

New Hires at DHX Brands

DHX BrandsDHX Brands announced the appointment of four new team members in its London office. Debbie Walker has been appointed brand manager, Cheryl Brock joins as design manager in the Creative Services team, Alessia Foster takes the position of head of product development, with Holly Taylor joining her as product development manager.

Walker will lead brand and marketing initiatives in the UK for Twirlywoos and In the Night Garden. Having worked in roles across Mattel, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment, and Trinity Films, Walker has in-depth experience in kids’ and family brand marketing, PR, and creative communications. At Mattel, she managed Fireman Sam and worked across the relaunch of Bob the Builder.

In the DHX Brands’ Creative Services team, Brock will help maintain a growing DHX Brands portfolio and launch new titles. With a wealth of expertise in licensing design, she worked across brands including Thomas & Friends, The Simpsons, Hello Kitty, and My Little Pony. More recently, she was working for Disney where she was responsible for graphic and product design for some of the largest European direct-to-retail accounts.

Establishing a dedicated DHX Brands product development team, Foster brings with her extensive international experience of leading the development of products through licensing and live events and attractions programs. Most recently at Mattel, she has worked on global brands including Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, and Barbie.

Taylor joins the newly established DHX Brands Product Development team with a focus on apparel and soft lines development. She has considerable experience in this field, most recently for Disney on their apparel development for all major UK retailers.
