Adventerra is known for its board games that educate children about protecting and conserving the planet. Mer will lead and implement brand marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels for the company’s product line.

“I am thrilled to join the Adventerra Games family and help empower the younger generations to save our planet,” Mer said. “As someone passionate about the environment, I am deeply inspired by Adventerra Games’ meaningful mission, and look forward to motivating North American children to take action for a greener, more sustainable future.”

Mer’s volunteer work includes leading coral reef restoration dives and public education on ocean impact awareness for the Coral Restoration Foundation. She has also managed online strategy to raise awareness about the dangers of water pollution for Save the Water, a nonprofit organization that identifies harmful chemicals in water.

“We are delighted that France has agreed to join Adventerra Games North America. Her arrival marks a milestone for us,”  said Adventerra North America manager and CEO Sue Mundell. “She has a great track record managing brands, marketing, and social media, and we are confident that she will accelerate our sales in North America.”

Founded in Switzerland, Adventerra launched its North American business two years ago.

“Our hearts are singing after the decision by France Mer to make environmental education ‘her day job’ by becoming Director of Marketing at Adventerra Games,” said Bryan Mundell, founder of the Adventerra Games family of companies, who is based in Switzerland. “She is passionate about our mission, and full of energy and fresh ideas to mobilize the team to turbocharge our growth in North America.”
