Arcade1Up Expands Sales Team to Support Growing Business

Arcade1Up, has announced three new additions to the company’s sales team to support its growth and expanding U.S. and international business. Eric Van Kannel, Michael Fisher and Kuntha Kith have been hired as Director of Digital Sales, Sales Manager and Director of Business Planning respectively for the leader in at-home retro arcade game entertainment.  All three will report to Vice President of Sales Chris Cardenas. Additionally, long-time employee David McIntosh has been promoted to Vice President, Retailer Marketing.

Inuru to Debut First-of-its-Kind Packaging Technology at CES

Inuru, a pioneer in practical and transformative light technology, is presenting its new line of paper-thin organic LEDs (OLED) at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Booth 9274. Located in the Enterprise section of the North Hall near “Smart Cities,” Inuru’s 10’ X 20’ exhibit will feature an immersive cyber-punk experience, showcasing the company’s latest breakthroughs in whole electronic circuitry, condensed into thin waterproof and shockproof labels with an ultra-efficient free form light that is powered by a stamp-sized battery producing 3V and 0.5mA at 500CD. 2023 WTHRA Hall of Fame Inductees Announced for ToyFest

2023 will see the induction of three members of the WTHRA Hall of Fame including Lorraine Bozeman, Carol Knight and Mark Parsons. A Retailer of the Year award will be given to a small west coast based toy store chain, Piccolo Mondo located in Oregon. The ToyFest Gala will take place at Resorts World’s nightclub Zouk, Tuesday, Feb 28, 2023, at 7:00 PM. While ToyFest has evolved from a local toy show for specialty retailers, based in Pomona, CA to a national show, utilizing both permanent showrooms and temporary booths at the World Market Center Las Vegas, the basics have remained the same. The core value, toy industry community, camaraderie and celebration are at its pinnacle during the ToyFest Gala at which awards are given to respected industry leaders.

Omens Studios Launches NFT, Virtual Reality and Interactive Initiative ‘Omens Multiverse’

Award-winning animation company Omens Studios is further expanding its creative offering to global audiences launching its new program, the ‘Omens Multiverse’ to take animation and movie-based IPs into virtual reality and interactive experiences. The studio has two projects currently in development – Circle Line and Oasis – which will both be available as VR experiences and have NFT collections. Omens Studios is also creating a Roblox experience based on hit series Leo the Wildlife Ranger, coming Q2 2023.

First Expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet Series Coming Soon Alongside Card Design Updates

The Pokémon Company International announced the next expansion for the bestselling Pokémon Trading Card Game, Scarlet & Violet, inspired by the recently released Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet expansion will be launching worldwide beginning on March 31, 2023. As the first expansion in the Scarlet & Violet Trading Card Game Series, initially unveiled during the 2022 Pokémon World Championships, Scarlet & Violet will see the return of the Pokémon ex gameplay mechanic, which will appear in each stage of Evolution and have high HP, as well as powerful attacks and Abilities.
