Toymint to Launch its Next Generation of Minted Teddy Metaverse Toys

Toymint, a web3 toy company on a mission to build a better world by creating high-quality, sustainable children’s toys, is announcing that it is releasing its next generation of Minted Teddy NFTs and accompanying collectible toys on January 30, 2023. The first collection of 100 teddies launched in December 2021, followed by 1,000 Series 1 NFTs in January 2022. All collections released to date have sold out immediately. Only 11,111 Minted Teddies will be created. This new collection introduces space-themed teddies with over 130 unique objects and over 20 unique styles of space flight gear, including MoonCats-themed teddies that were born from a collaboration with the MoonCats team.

Gutsy Animations’ ‘Moominvalley’ Secures Season Four Greenlight

Gutsy Animations’ internationally celebrated, Emmy nominated animated series Moominvalley has been recommissioned for a fourth season by its anchor broadcasters Sky (UK) and Yle (Finland). Additionally, and new for season four, Viaplay Group has boarded Moominvalley as a co-production partner and will air all four seasons on its Viaplay streaming platform in multiple territories, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland and the Netherlands.

Mondo TV Studios to Supply hit Kids’ Shows for V-Me Media in US

Mondo TV Studios, part of Mondo TV Group, one of the largest European producers and distributors of animated content, has announced an important deal with V-Me Media, the US Hispanic pay TV leader, for a number of popular children’s shows to be broadcast in English on Primo TV across the US. The duration of the license will be three years starting from this January 2023. Launch dates for the shows will be announced soon. V-me Media Inc. is a family of three television networks, including Vme TV, Vme Kids and Primo TV, available in millions of households in the United States and offering a contemporary mix of original productions, exclusive premieres, acquisitions, and popular television programmes specially adapted for a Hispanic audience.

Superhero hit Ultraman acquired by Cleopatra

Cleopatra Entertainment has acquired U.S. territory rights to the latest incarnation film from the Japanese Superhero franchise Ultraman from Tsuburaya Productions. Entitled Shin Ultraman, this new Ultraman adventure was the sixth-highest grossing Japanese feature film of 2022 and will hit U.S. theaters – via Fathom Events – on January 11th and 12th, 2023. Written by Hideaki Anno (Shin Godzilla) and directed by Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla, Attack on Titan), the film stars Takumi Saitoh (Shin Godzilla, 13 Assassins), Hidetoshi Nishijima (Drive My Car, The Wind Rises), Masami Nagasawa (Before We Vanish, Mother), Daiki Arioka (Innocent Curse), and Akari Hayami (Gintama, Forget Me Not).
