Epic Story Media Partners with Bidaya’s ‘Mansour’ Franchise

Bidaya Media has signed a deal with independent IP creator and kids franchise company Epic Story Media Incorporated (ESM), a full-service kids franchise company, as the content and licensing agent for the new 2D animated series, The Adventures of Mansour: Age of AI. The series will join ESM’s growing portfolio of franchises in the upcoming MIPTV event in Cannes, France, and will be represented going forward throughout the upcoming licensing and content distribution forums. ESM will represent the new series globally (excluding in the MENA and China territories) with the aim of securing broadcast rights across multiple linear and streaming platforms as part of Bidaya’s efforts to globally promote the series.

Magic Mixies has more than 12.7 million views on YouTube, and is now making magic on Netflix with two Magic Mixies specials. The specials include content from Magic Mixies season one and two, which follow Sienna, a young girl who unlocks a glittering pathway to Mixia, a mystical land filled with magic creatures (spoiler alert: it’s the Mixlings!) and new adventures. Both specials are available in five languages: English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese, further solidifying Magic Mixies’ worldwide appeal.

Fred Rogers Productions Receives Renewal Grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations to Support Educational Series

Fred Rogers Productions, the award-winning children’s educational media organization behind Emmy-winning PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Odd Squad, and Peg + Cat, has secured a two-year $600,000 grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations (AVDF) for its newest series, Alma’s Way and Donkey Hodie. AVDF’s mission is to support institutions it views as pillars of American society, and Fred Rogers Productions is one of a few producers of public media receiving continued support.

MediaCorp Commissions New Spin-off Series Paula & Pals and Refreshed Leo the Wildlife Ranger

Award-winning animation company Omens Studios has secured a multi-season commission from Singapore’s national public broadcaster MediaCorp to produce two brand-new series based on its hit international IPs 123 Number Squad and Leo the Wildlife Ranger. The Mediacorp deal includes three seasons of 123 Number Squad spin off series Paula & Pals and four seasons of a refreshed version of Leo the Wildlife Ranger, which picks up where season two of the original show ends.

Amuse Animation to Produce First Original Digital-Led Preschool Series from eOne

Amuse Animation, a boutique digital-centric animation studio, has entered an agreement with Hasbro entertainment studio, eOne to produce a digital-led animated series. The eOne deal marks Hasbro’s first collaboration with Amuse Animation, and their first ever original, direct-to-digital preschool project. “In an ever-changing media landscape, it is clear that digital-born properties are winning the hearts of children and families around the world now more than ever before.
