Skydance Animation Inks Multi-Year, Multi-Film Agreement with Spin Master

Skydance Animation has announced a multi-year agreement with leading global children’s entertainment company Spin Master, to become the studio’s master toy licensee. The first feature property included under the pact is Apple Original Film Spellbound, directed by Vicky Jenson, which will debut globally on Apple TV+. Spin Master will bring characters from the show to life with products including fashion dolls, mini-dolls and vehicles. The agreement also gives Spin Master the rights to develop toy lines for other upcoming Skydance animated features.

Pet Simulator X Taps PhatMojo for Toys and Licensing

BIG Games and PhatMojo have announced their master toy and licensing partnership for the hit game, Pet Simulator X. The agreement will include a line of toys, launching this summer, and a consumer products licensing program, currently in development. Under the worldwide deal, PhatMojo will build their product program from the brilliantly unique Pet Simulator X world, based on its wide-ranging pattern of character collectability and immersive fun.

Magikbee and WildBrain have signed an agreement to license Seasons 9, 10, and 11 of Mattel’s classic Polly Pocket series for Magikbee’s kids’ streaming platform, KidsBeeTV. KidsBeeTV is a global brand with customers in more than 200 countries. In that sense, Polly Pocket is a key IP in the kids’ streaming app catalog, appealing to a large fan base around the world and resonating with both kids and their parents. The classic animated series, which originally premiered in 2010, is based on Mattel’s original micro-scale doll brand that first launched in 1989 and is well-known and much-loved.
