Spin Master Corp, a leading, global, children’s entertainment company, announced that it has been awarded the global toy license for Paramount+ original Dora, an upcoming all-new preschool series that marks the return of the groundbreaking Latina heroine and the newest property in Nickelodeon’s award-winning Dora the Explorer franchise. Spin Master’s diverse toy collection, expected to launch in Fall 2024, will include figures, dolls, playsets, vehicles, plush, roleplay, games and puzzles, inspired by Dora, her companion Boots and other beloved characters and locales they explore.

Academy Award-nominated French animation studio Xilam Animation has appointed new licensing agents for Oggy Oggy – the hit preschool spin-off to its iconic Oggy and the Cockroaches franchise. The new licensing partners appointed are Bavaria Licensing for Germany and DeAPlaneta Entertainment for France, Spain, Portugal and CEE. These latest agents join existing partner Licensing Matters, which represents the brand in the UK market. The agents will each assemble local merchandise programs for Oggy Oggy targeting kids and families across apparel, gifting, back-to-school and home categories. An Oggy Oggy master toy range from Simba Dickie Group launched in stores across France, Germany and Italy for Christmas 2022, and will be extending into further European markets and adding a new plush this year.

Moonbug Entertainment, a subsidiary of Candle Media, has announced expansion plans for its biggest global franchise, CoComelon, with master toy partner Jazwares. A new collection of toys featuring characters from the popular franchise will be on display at New York Toy Fair (Jazwares booth #2403) from September 30th to October 3rd. 

Goliath, a family-owned toy and game company, has announced an extension of its global partnership with Paramount Consumer Products to debut a series of plush toys for the new theatrical film, The Garfield Movie, produced by Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, only in theatres May 2024. As the official global plush partner for the highly anticipated film, Goliath will design, develop and manufacture cuddle-worthy plush toys. The collection will debut in parallel with the highly anticipated The Garfield Movie release, starring Chris Pratt as the voice of Garfield, in May 2024. Garfield and Odie 8” soft and huggable plush toys will be available on shelves and online starting at $9.99. The two characters are the first of a full character lineup that will reach the masses in Fall 2024.

TOMY International will introduce a new line of plush in Spring 2024 featuring Games Workshop’s global property, Warhammer.
