The Batman in Concert Debuts Soon in US with More to Come

DC In Concert, an all-new global touring film concert series presented by TCG Entertainment and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, will make its United States debut in Los Angeles with Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2022 box office hit, The Batman.  Combining the acclaimed feature film with a live symphony orchestra performing the riveting score, “The Batman In Concert” is set for its US debut April 15 at the Dolby Theatre.  Other performances include the Warner Theatre in Washington DC on April 22, The James L. Epic Story Media Partners with Bidaya’s ‘Mansour’ Franchise

Bidaya Media has signed a deal with independent IP creator and kids franchise company Epic Story Media Incorporated (ESM), a full-service kids franchise company, as the content and licensing agent for the new 2D animated series, The Adventures of Mansour: Age of AI. The series will join ESM’s growing portfolio of franchises in the upcoming MIPTV event in Cannes, France, and will be represented going forward throughout the upcoming licensing and content distribution forums. ESM will represent the new series globally (excluding in the MENA and China territories) with the aim of securing broadcast rights across multiple linear and streaming platforms as part of Bidaya’s efforts to globally promote the series.

New Micro-Sized Funko Star Wars Bitty Pop! Line and More Revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023

At Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, Funko unveiled the Star Wars Bitty Pop! line — tiny versions of the toy maker’s iconic Star Wars Pop!s. Launching this summer, the first wave of Star Wars Bitty Pop! takes inspiration from the film that started it all, Star Wars: A New Hope, and features Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Darth Vader, and more. Funko will release four standalone four-packs of these mini marvels — three devoted to the light side, and one focusing on the dark — with each including one rare or hyper-rare mystery Bitty Pop! to complete the series. (Rare mystery items are available as a 1-in-3 chase, while hyper-rare items are 1-in-6.) Every Bitty Pop! comes in miniature packaging protected by an acrylic case, and the figures (only about .9 inches tall!) can be removed for play and display. But this is not the only Funko fun coming to our galaxy.

Hasbro Announces Executive Leadership Team Appointments with Tim Kilpin and Gina Goetter

Tim Kilpin will join as president, Toy, Licensing & Entertainment, effective from April 24th, and Gina Goetter will join as chief financial officer from May 18th, following the company’s Annual Meeting of shareholders.
