Falcon’s Beyond (“Falcon’s” or the “Company”), a diversified global entertainment, consumer experience, and technology enterprise that accelerates intellectual property (IP) activations concurrently across physical and digital experiences, has announced its debut project as part of its joint venture with Raging Power Limited, an arm of K11 Group, the Hong Kong-based cultural commerce giant. Through their joint venture, these two trailblazers in entertainment and retail, respectively, are expected to collaborate to develop and launch new entertainment franchises and location-based entertainment (LBE) attractions across China.

WildBrain CPLG, a world-leading entertainment, sport and brand licensing agency, is continuing the expansion of its global strategy with the launch of a new location-based entertainment (LBE) business to drive opportunities for WildBrain’s franchise brands as well as partner brands such as Peanuts and PLAYMOBIL, with an initial focus on China and Asia Pacific (APAC). Veteran licensing executive, Kevin Suh is working with WildBrain CPLG to build out the global LBE strategy. Based in Los Angeles, Suh’s remit includes driving key opportunities across territories worldwide. Formerly President of Themed Entertainment & Consumer Products at Paramount Pictures, Suh oversaw global location-based entertainment for all Paramount Global brands, including Paramount Pictures, CBS, Nickelodeon and more, with key franchises including SpongeBob SquarePants, Star Trek, PAW Patrol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Suh managed a portfolio of over 20 Paramount Global-branded entertainment destinations and programs worldwide across theme parks, hotels and resorts, restaurants, retail businesses and stage plays. Previously, Suh was a senior executive at the Motion Picture Association of America and a lawyer in California.

Princess Sam Consumer Products (PSCP) has announced that it has appointed a licensing agent for the children’s animated adventure-comedy-fantasy hit Tara Duncan in multiple territories across Latin America and the Caribbean. International Merchandising Consultants (IMC Licensing) will handle licensing for this fast-growing property in Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Caribbean Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. IMC will have the support of promotions and licensing agency company Panamericana de Licencias (CPL) in many of these regions.

This September, Ramen Yokocho are taking customers on a turquoise-tinted adventure with their exclusive collaboration with worldwide phenomenon, and the biggest digital popstar, Hatsune Miku (初音ミク). In celebration of the stars’ 16th birthday, Yokocho are offering an exclusive Miku inspired menu. Highlights include Miku Tonkotsu Ramen; with a rich 12-hour broth, BBQ pork belly, hosomen noodles, kikurage mushrooms, takana mustard, nitamago egg, nori seaweed and red ginger. Complementing this, is a choice of a suitably sweet Melo-chrome Cream Soda, blueberry soda or blue chai latte before concluding with an inspired Yokocho specialty; the mochi donut ice cream stack, featuring an edible image of the star herself!

Manic Panic, the iconic beauty brand known for its bold hair colors, partners with fashion brand Wren + Glory on licensing deal to offer hand-painted, one-of-a-kind apparel. Manic Panic, the distinguished beauty brand renowned for its vibrant and unapologetic hair color, has developed an exciting partnership with the highly sought-after fashion label, Wren + Glory. This collaboration, launching September 5, 2023, will introduce a limited-edition hand-painted jacket and a hand-painted hoodie, reflecting the mutual commitment to self-expression and originality that defines both brands.

ASPIRE, the dedicated Corporate & Lifestyle division of world-leading brand licensing agency WildBrain CPLG, is expanding its collegiate brand roster with newly added representation rights for the New York-based institution Columbia University, a leader in research and higher education in the US and around the world. Amplifying awareness for the property, Zoonicorn master toy licensee United Smile is collaborating with leading licensee SRM Entertainment, Inc to showcase the brand. They will first present Zoonicorn at the LA September Preview, September 18-23, at United Smile’s showroom at the Sonesta Hotel, Suite #108. This will be the first look at the extensive Zoonicorn toy line. The following week, the two companies will again link up, presenting Zoonicorn at New York Toy Fair, September 30-October 3, at the SRM Toy Fair stand (Booth #2689).
