Latin World Launches Licensing Division with Sofía Vergara Line

Latin World Entertainment (LWE) announced the formation of its new licensing division, Latin World Licensing. LWE’s first licensing deal will introduce a clothing and accessories collection by Sofía Vergara (star of ABC’s Modern Family), created exclusively for Kmart. The Sofía Vergara Collection will be introduced in Kmart stores nationwide this fall.

LWE is joining forces with veteran licensing executive Nancy Overfield-Delmar and apparel executive Paul A. Robb for this endeavor. Overfield-Delmar will serve as president and Robb will be COO of Latin World Licensing.

Latin World Licensing is currently negotiating other major licensing deals involving stars and opinion makers on the LWE talent roster.

WBCP and M·A·C Cosmetics Team Up

This spring, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Wonder Woman—DC Comics’ most iconic heroine—team up with M·A·C Cosmetics to create a product collection. The collection will include Mineralize Skinfinish, eye shadow, lipsticks and oversized Lipglass, powder blush, Opulash, eye liner, and nail lacquer.

CPLG Signs Master Toy Deal for Caillou

CPLG, the licensing arm of Cookie Jar Entertainment, has signed on Montreal-based ID Toys to serve as the master toy licensee for Caillou across all of North America. The line includes figures, playsets, puzzles, bath toys, and plush. ID Toys is launching nationally across the U.S. this spring introducing more than 14 new SKUs from the Caillou-branded toy line.
