Nickelodeon is launching NickMom, the new primetime, ad-supported TV block beginning October 1 and relaunching now on the web at www.NickMom.com. The TV comedy block will feature a mix of original long- and short-form programming, including talk shows, stand-up and sketch comedy, docu-series, and more.

The four-hour NickMom block will air nightly on the Nick Jr. channel from 10 p.m.– 12 a.m. (ET) and replay from 12–2 a.m. (ET).

The NickMom blog has now been transformed into a fully featured comedy and entertainment site, ramping up with extensive content. Also, NickMom.com is now available across personal computers, tablets, and mobile.

NickMom sponsors include Reckitt Benckiser, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, and Target. These deals include brand integration, content development, and sponsorships across both the NickMom TV block and NickMom.com site.

The NickMom TV block will launch with four original series spanning sketch comedy, talk, docu-series, and stand-up genres, which are outlined below.

Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor is a show that blends studio elements, interviews, video commentary, monologues, and panel discussions with hidden camera, mom on the street, and sketch comedy. Each episode explores a different element of parenting, all through the irreverent and funny eyes of author and comedienne Stefanie Wilder-Taylor.

MFF: Mom Friends Forever is a docu-comedy series that goes inside the worlds of Judi Diamond and Kate Frisina-White—two mom best friends from St. Louis, Mo., who have a lot to say. Between juggling work, kids, and relationships, they also produce and star in a web show just for moms.

NickMom Night Out is a stand-up comedy series. Featured hosts include Tisha Campbell-Martin (L.A. edition), Judy Gold (N.Y. edition), Caroline Rhea (Orlando edition), and Bonnie McFarlane (Chicago edition). The series spotlights the chaos and hilarity that comes with being a parent.

What Was Carol Brady Thinking? goes inside the mind of one of the most iconic moms of all time through graphic overlays on top of the original The Brady Bunch series, allowing viewers to read Carol Brady’s thoughts throughout each episode.

Coming to TV in 2013:
My 63 Moms is a docu-comedy series starring comic and new mom, Andrea Rosen, who speaks to different types of moms seeking advice and confirmation that she is not alone in the insanity that is motherhood. Each week she’ll visit a few families and hear their stories and insights as she struggles to determine what’s right for her and her child.
