Saban Forms Lifestyle, Entertainment Groups
Saban Brands has announced the formation of two new units within the company, Saban Brands Lifestyle Group (SBLG) and Saban Brands Entertainment Group (SBEG). SBLG was established to drive major expansion within the company’s fashion and lifestyle properties. SBLG currently includes Paul Frank and Macbeth, and will be led by Dan Castle, managing director of strategic business development from Saban Brands’ New York office and showroom. SBLG’s goal is to actively acquire and grow brands that have a passionate consumer following.
Alongside SBLG is the Entertainment Group, SBEG, which was formed to oversee the company’s growing entertainment portfolio of brands including Power Rangers, Julius Jr., Popples, Luna Petunia, Emojiville, and others in development. Led by Saban Brands’ President Elie Dekel, SBEG will continue to dedicate itself to developing innovative content that resonates with consumers across all media platforms.
