Toy Fair 2017 Dates Announced

The Toy Industry Association announced that Toy Fair 2017 is February 18–21. It is Saturday–Tuesday and it is Presidents weekend. For more information about next year’s show, click here.

Tesla, Radio Flyer Partner for Kids’ Model S

Radio Flyer and carmaker, Tesla have partnered for a Model S for Kids by Radio Flyer. Shipping in May, it is now available for pre-order starting at $499. It is fully customizable and comes equipped with high-end features to recreate the ultimate Tesla experience, says Radio Flyer. PetSmart to Feature Secret Life of Pets

PetSmart and NBCUniversal Brand Development Group announced a strategic partnership this week with Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ The Secret Life of Pets. Under the agreement, PetSmart becomes the exclusive retailer to carry a collection of pet products featuring the characters from the film. The PetSmart campaign will launch timed to the release of The Secret Life of Pets, which arrives in theaters nationwide on July 8, 2016.

The Secret Life of Pets will have “store takeover” presence across PetSmart’s more than 1,400 stores throughout North America, petsmart.com, and other digital platforms. The Secret Life of Pets campaign will include advertising that features custom-to-PetSmart animation and assets across television, print, and digital, as well as social engagement programs.

The exclusive PetSmart product collection includes pet apparel, plush and rope squeaker toys, and cat and dog beds. Also featured is a collection of the characters’ Top PetSmart Picks, which is a list of PetSmart favorites as picked by the main characters in the movie. Big Heart Pets, the company behind Milk-Bone dog biscuits, will also offer an exclusive-to-PetSmart line of movie-themed pet treats.
