We begin this year’s Toy Fair with very sad news. Tech 4 Kids announced, with deep regret, the sudden passing of Elise Lachowyn on Friday, February 12, 2016. Elise was involved in a tragic accident in New York City on her way to Toy Fair.
Tech 4 Kids said in a statement, “Elise leaves behind her cherished husband Drew and six-year-old daughter Skyler. She was a veteran of the toy industry and a friend and colleague to many. As a member of the senior leadership team of Tech 4 Kids, she was a highly respected, admired, and accomplished individual who will be greatly missed by all.”
In loving memory of Elise Lachowyn, Tech 4 Kids set up a GoFundMe page to help with education expenses for Skyler. Tech 4 Kids says it will match all donations. For more information, please contact Harold Chizick at harold@chizcomm.com.
