Hasbro, Inc. announced that a new line of Star Wars products featuring The Child are now available for preorder and shipping beginning in May 2020. From the live-action Disney+ series, The Mandalorian, Hasbro is bringing expressions of the popular character to Star Wars fans around the globe.
“We’ve been so enamored with the conversation and fan reaction surrounding The Mandalorian’s The Child and we know Star Wars fans around the world will be thrilled to see this beloved character incorporated into the Hasbro Star Wars collection of products,” said Samantha Lomow, President, Hasbro Entertainment Brands. The released items include Star Wars: The Black Series The Child figure, Star Wars The Child talking plush toy, Star Wars The Bounty Collection The Child figures, and Star Wars The Child 6.5-inch figure.
The Star Wars: The Black Series The Child Figure is a 1.12-inch figure is styled to look like The Child, with multiple points of articulation. It includes the figure, bone broth toy, ball toy, and Sorgan frog.
The Star Wars The Child talking plush toy features posable arms and character sounds and includes a bone broth bowl and Sorgan frog.
With the Star Wars The Bounty Collection The Child figures, fans can collect six 2.2-inch figures of the character in different poses inspired by scenes from The Mandalorian.
Finally, the Star Wars The Child 6.5-inch figure features design inspired by The Mandalorian and several points of articulation.
Products are available for pre-order now at major retailers in North America and in select countries globally starting next week. Additional Hasbro toys and games featuring The Child will be revealed in the coming months.
