Hasbro Announces Leadership Changes

As Wiebe Tinga transitions towards retirement, he has stepped down from his position as Hasbro’s Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Commercial Officer. To provide for an orderly transition of his responsibilities, he will continue his employment with the company as a special commercial retail advisor for a transitional period.

Michael Hogg, who has held various positions in Hasbro’s Commercial organization, will take on the role of EVP and Chief Commercial Officer effective immediately reporting to Chairman and CEO Brian Goldner. Since joining Hasbro in 2005, Hogg has taken on various roles within the commercial organization starting as General Manager in Canada, then moved to the U.S. in 2011 assuming the role of President, Hasbro North America and in 2018 was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer, Commercial Markets.

Eric Nyman has been named Chief Consumer Officer for Hasbro, leading the newly formed Global Consumer Organization, reporting to John Frascotti, President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Eric has been a valued member of the Hasbro team for 15 years, holding leadership roles within brand and commercial management, most recently as President, Hasbro North America,” said Frascotti. “His proven ability to build empowered, successful teams with a deep focus on the consumer and customer will enable him to lead the Global Consumer Organization into the future.”

In this new position, Nyman will have responsibility for all of Hasbro Global Brand teams, which will leverage a new general management construct to create fully innovative product and marketing solutions for each brand.

Tony Papreck has been named President, North America & Pacific Sales and Marketing. Over the past several years, Papreck has led both the Australian and Canadian business units as General Manager. In this new position he will report to Michael Hogg, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer.
