Blackpink Collectible

South Korean girl group BLACKPINK has taken the world by storm, breaking records around the world. At New York Toy Fair, toy company Jazwares is unveiling a first look at a new line of collectibles and toys inspired by YG Entertainment’s K-pop group.

The BLACKPINK collection draws on the group members’ personalities both on and off the stage for products that will appeal to both die-hard BLINKS and casual fans. In creating the collection, Jazwares was inspired by each girls’ look, personality and talent. For the dolls, each girl is represented through looks from BLACKPINK’s top singles, “Kill This Love,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and “BOOMBAYAH,” resulting in 24 stylized outfits that can be mixed and matched. At launch, the line will include microphone mystery figures, heart surprise figure & accessories, light-up plush heart with additional collectible items coming soon including:

  • Fashion dolls
  • Mini surprise collectible dolls with accessories
  • Plush
  • Roleplay
  • DomezTM collectibles

“In just a few short years, BLACKPINK has established themselves as one of the hottest rising female groups in the music industry and we are thrilled to work together with the girls to bring a line of collectible products into the homes of fans around the globe,” said Laura Zebersky, Chief Commercial Officer at Jazwares.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo (지수), Jennie (제니), Rosé (로제), and Lisa (리사) formed in 2016, and dropped their newest EP “Kill This Love” in 2019 shortly after signing with Interscope Records for global partnership. They quickly became the highest-charting female K-pop act on Billboard Hot 100, the first and only K-pop girl group to enter both Billboard 200 and Hot 100, as well as the first K-Pop girl group to play Coachella. Since their debut in 2016, BLACKPINK has won more than 38 awards and received 149 nominations to date. With over 1.1 billion global Spotify streams in 79 countries, the girl group is the highest charting female K-pop group as of 2019.

The partnership between Jazwares and BLACKPINK was facilitated by global merchandising company Bravado.
