Bratz Teams Up with Streetwear Brand GCDS for New Line of Inclusive Dolls and Clothing.

Bratz GCDS

The Bratz Pack are back, and this time they’re teaming up with GCDS! Bringing a dose of early 2000s glamor and Y2K nostalgia into a modern context, GCDS and MGA Entertainment have created a capsule of Bratz-inspired clothing and accessories. The collection includes two core Bratz characters styled by GCDS in iconic looks from their runway show. The capsule evokes themes of inclusivity and self-expression valued by both Bratz and GCDS.

Giuliano Calza, Creative Director GCDS, remarks, “Growing up I was scared of who I really was, I had to learn through experiences. What made me feel like I wasn’t enough in some scenarios, now makes me feel like I belong, and this is the message I want to give to the future generation. Focus on ur path, u do u.

For the collaboration, GCDS and MGA Entertainment have reimagined two distinct Bratz Collector dolls, Sasha and Yasmin, into GCDS girls, each with their own unique interests, vibes and killer outfits. GCDS X BRATZ also includes a special capsule collection of Ready to Wear and Accessories.

Jasmin Larian, Creative Director of Bratz, says, “Bratz & GCDS both welcome being different, embracing everyone and putting fashion and culture first. We are very excited to create this innovative partnership and look forward to both fans enjoying this collection and embracing both their inner and outer beauty!

The dolls and the RTW capsule will be available from December 1st on www.gcds.com, in GCDS’ stores and select toy retailers worldwide. Additionally, for the month of December, pop-ups in Milan, Rome, and London will be entirely themed with a special set-up for the launch, also featuring fiber glass statues of Bratz dolls wearing GCDS, made by artist Colin Christian.
