Highlights for Children, the family media brand known for their beloved magazines and books, announces the signing of several new licensing agreements in advance of attending Licensing Expo in Las Vegas in May.

Playtek LLC is the company’s new licensee for learning and activity toys; the line will come to market in 2023. Playstories personalized story books transform the reading experience with three titles in the summer of 2022 — Kindness ABC, Kindness 123, and We’re Better Together. Bendon Publishing is expanding its Highlights Learning value-channel line and PAPP International launches new titles in the Color-by-Number series. These new products join existing licensees: Buffalo Games Hidden Picture board game, Baketivity Kindness Cookies Kit, Educational Insights’ Hot Dots Jr. interactive workbooks, and Leap Year, publisher of boxed puzzles and card games.

“The Highlights brand has been helping children become their best selves by publishing content and creating experiences that engage, delight, and foster joyful learning for over 75 years,” said Dennis Hupp, Senior Vice President, Omnichannel Sales & Marketing at Highlights. “We are excited to announce these new licensing relationships, which will complement the overwhelming success of our retail program and expand our brand presence in categories that are important to Highlights families.”

Highlights is represented by licensing agency The M-Zone spearheaded by Melissa Segal and Jeff Fradin. “We look forward to finding new partners for licensing and partnerships as we share the brand’s retail successes at Licensing Show,” said Jeff Fradin.
