Award-winning animation company Omens Studios has secured new international sales for its award-winning 3D animated adventure series Leo the Wildlife Ranger. Additionally, the company is expanding its popular gaming app for the property, with the launch of new modules. AMC International Networks has acquired season one of Leo the Wildlife Ranger for the Middle East and Africa, and season two will be available across Europe (including Poland). Further new deals for the series include: TRT taking season one and two in Turkey, FairFax County Schools Districts taking season two for the US, alongside Common Sense Media renewing its existing deal for season one.

Earlier this year, Omens Studios developed and launched a new gaming app for the hit children’s property, and is now expanding the game by rolling out an additional 3 modules in Q4 2023. The ‘Leo the Wildlife Ranger Kids Games’ app is available worldwide, including the US, UK and Canada, on Apple and Google app stores online and is supported across iOS and Android phone and tablet devices. The app features a range of exclusive child-friendly mini-games based on Omens Studios’ award-winning series, including memory games, mazes, colouring, puzzles and more. New mini-games and content will be added every month.

In the short time since its release, Leo the Wildlife Ranger Kids Games App has received over 10,000 downloads on the app stores, securing a 5-star rating on the Apple App Store. The app has also been awarded the badge of approval by teachers and specialists on the Google App Store. The new game module “Balance the Bridge” aims to teach children about basic principles of physics while the upcoming “Storybook” module is an interactive experience that lets players make fun choices in the stories. Players may also try their hands at becoming young veterinarians and treat wounds, cure infections and clean dirt off animals through the new game module “Animal Clinic”.

A Spanish version of Leo the Wildlife Ranger Kids Games App will also be available in Q4 2023 for Leo enthusiasts. The Spanish version of the game will also include Spanish episodes of Leo the Wildlife Ranger, with monthly updates and additions to the catalogue, as seen in the original English version of the game.

Chi Sim Tang, CEO of Omens Studios, says: “Leo the Wildlife Ranger has become a much-loved property with audiences all over the world, who are connecting with the characters in a range of different ways – including through broadcasting, the games app and our exclusive kid-friendly VR content on YouTube. We are continuing to expand the offering for our fans, and we’re delighted to welcome new premium broadcast partners on board, including AMC International Networks, to bring the action-packed adventures of our wildlife rangers to new audiences.”

Leo the Wildlife Ranger was commissioned by Singapore’s national public broadcaster MediaCorp and is available internationally in over 50 territories. The series has also scored multiple awards, including Best Preschool Animation (Country) at the recent Asian Academy Creative Awards and a Silver Telly Award for Television Animation Series.

The wildlife-centric series, which includes a brand new 80 x 10’ commission scheduled for the first half of 2024, is aimed at 3-7 year olds and provides young audiences with zoology facts, teaches environmental awareness and nature conservation and helps build social skills and team work, all in fun and entertaining ways. The series features Junior Rangers Leo and Katie and their loyal canine companion Hero, on their quest to learn more about the beautiful animals and plants that surround us on this planet. The new updated series will see more action and development of the popular characters, exciting new gadgets, new animals, as well as more comedy and fun facts sprinkled throughout.
