Wind Sun Sky Entertainment (WSS), innovators in multi-platform entertainment, has partnered with Da Vinci, leaders in streaming content to families around the world, to expand the reach of Future Chicken, a multi-platform eco-initiative for kids, globally.

Future Chicken is a climate justice initiative for kids (6-10+) created to address the eco-anxiety they are experiencing today by leveraging evidence-based positive storytelling to let children know that there is hope for the planet and that they can make a difference when it comes to their future. In November, Future Chicken launched in multiple formats of content, on Roblox, YouTube and website. Acknowledging that kids love to watch shortform content, a Future Chicken ‘Ecotainment’ shorts series laid the foundation for launch. A mixed media content offering, Future Chicken shorts feature Potato the Chicken (aka Future Chicken) and her team of planet protecting friends highlighting to kids the positive things happening to support the future of the environment.

Jumping between the present and 2050, these eco-champions use fun and humor to share actions having a positive impact on the climate. Expanding the brand’s reach into global territories, Da Vinci will distribute Future Chicken’s Ecotainment shortform content on its kids services that reaches over 250 million households globally. In addition Da Vinci will also be creating quizzes as part of their popular Kahoot! offering, a game-based learning platform filled with fun-filled trivia quizzes that make learning fun and which recently passed 1.5 million players.

Future Chicken was created to help kids learn to be what we call ‘planet positive’,” said Catherine Winder, CEO of WSS. “The world can be a scary place, especially for kids, and our goal is to help educate and empower them through humor and positivity about the climate positive changes being made to our planet for their future. This partnership with Da Vinci is a giant step forward in helping to make this a more global message and movement.”

“Da Vinci’s mission is to create a smarter, kinder world by equipping kids and families with 21st Century educational entertainment,” said Luca Fiore, Director of Content and Education. “Our goal is to inspire and engage young people on topics that matter today. That’s why we are thrilled to partner with Wind Sun Sky Entertainment to distribute Future Chicken’s shortform globally. This is exactly the kind of forward-thinking content we love. It addresses the environmental and climate challenges we currently face and provides a positive, fun and active perspective for young people and families that inspires change without fear-mongering.”

With a blend of humor, ingenuity, and collaboration, Potato, Frittata and their friends are creating a hope-filled future built on caring communities, thriving oceans, greener cities, and renewed optimism. Future Chicken truly believes “Together, we make the future!”
