XMG Studio Has Three Positions Available

Toronto-based XMG Studio, Inc., has three positions available. Each is posted below in no specific order.

POSITION: UNITY DEVELOPER
Work alongside a small team of talented game designers, developers, and artists to build a successful mobile game together.

Experience and Skills
• Shipped at least one game on Android Marketplace or Apple AppStore
• At least one year of professional experience with Unity 3D targeted on mobile platforms
• Clean, Bug-free Code: Memory management along with Performance Optimization
• Source control: SVN, GIT, CVS, P4
• Design Patterns: MVC
• Must be able to script game play objects
• Familiarity with Maya and Unity art/development pipeline, a plus
• Agile Development, preferred

POSITION: HTML 5 DEVELOPER
We are seeking an HTML 5 Developer to help us build and maintain a web-based social game and engine.

Experience and Skills
Languages:
• HTML5, JavaScript, XML and/or JSON
Web Technologies (a bonus!):
• Ruby on Rails, Node.JS, Facebook API
• HTML 5 Canvas
• HTML5/JavaScript Game Engines (ImpactJS, LimeJS, or similar)
Collaborative Programming
• Source Control (SVN/Git/CVS/P4), Agile Development
Clean, Bug-free Code
• Memory Management, Performance and Optimization

You’ll work with our young and talented team to implement groundbreaking games that connect players together and delivers amazing game experiences. You’ll work together with the server administrator, game developers, graphic designers, and marketing team to create the web platform that will connect our players together.

POSITION: QA Specialist

Job Description
• Test new or modified XMG Games to evaluate whether they are at the desired quality level
• Develop and execute test cases
• Report any problems found or suggestions in detail both in verbal and in written communication to supervisor
• Reproduce bugs on a consistent basis, while documenting all steps taken to achieve result
• Give feedback on usability and “Fun Factor”

Experience and Skills
• Minimum of two years of QA experience
• Experience in writing test cases
• Comfortable with Mac OS X Platform
• Superior attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Analytical/Research Skills
• Ability to adapt and prioritize
