Reeves International, Inc., is hiring a Brand Marketing Manager. Reeves is a privately held New Jersey corporation, known and respected in the industry for distributing high-end European toys, gifts, and collectibles since 1946. In addition to distributing our own Breyer Animal Creations brand, Reeves also acquires domestic distribution rights for a number of exciting, internationally recognized third party brands.

Reeves is dedicated to distributing children’s toys, games and gifts that are beautiful, meaningful, educational, and fun. We are seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic Brand Marketing Manager to join our team and take on the responsibility of managing all aspects of select third-party product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Overall daily management of assigned third-party brands’ business plans and tactics
  • Own assigned brands as brand champion and ambassador in retail channel and industry trade
  • Analyze business, competitive trends, and understand the retail landscape and channels for assigned brands
  • Identify business growth opportunities, lead brand growth initiatives
  • Manage and grow relationships and sales within critical key accounts as needed
  • Interact with and challenge sales management to achieve required overall results
  • Attend industry trade shows, brand owner, and key account meetings as required
  • Develop programs to achieve brand sales success and prominence in marketplace
  • Establish, project, and achieve sales forecasts on assigned third-party brands
  • Provide reporting to Reeves management and brand owners on activities and results
  • Generate brand financial and product line analysis for review and to define product selection and pricing
  • Work strategically and tactically with brand owners on product, packaging, pricing, and marketing plans to ensure product is successfully executed and positioned for the U.S or North American marketplace
  • Oversee preparation of sales and marketing materials in concert with foreign brand and license owner requirements, approval processes, and Reeves management
  • Ensure that all foreign brand products comply with applicable CPSC and ASTM requirements
  • Up to 25 percent travel, both foreign and domestic

Qualifications

  • 10-plus years of related business experience
  • Demonstratable history of success or demonstration of transferable skill set
  • Strong interpersonal skills, influential, a relationship builder
  • Creative, strategic, a problem solver
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of wholesale/retail channels and metrics
  • Analytical, with ability to provide required reports and financial planning
  • Project management skills, deadline oriented
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to learn and master proprietary programs

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Minimum 10 years in consumer goods marketing and/or brand management
  • Specific related experience in Toy or Gift industry desired
