Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

Candidates must have an exceptional understanding of consumer brand public relations and preferable experience within the toy or licensing industry. The candidate will play a lead role in high quality client service focusing on media and influencer relations and produce high level client ready work that generates results. This role will provide daily support for the team’s overall client strategy, campaign management, including media relations, blogger/influencer engagement and event planning. The candidate should be personable, highly motivated, detailed-oriented, an excellent multi-tasker, and comfortable working in a fast-paced open environment. Additionally, the candidate should have experience managing and mentoring junior staff members.

  • Development of press releases, pitches, fact sheets and client correspondences

What you should have

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years of experience working in PR on the agency side or as in-house manager
  • Toy industry experience is a plus, including relationships with key opinion leaders, industry experts, parenting media and trade show support (e.g. Toy Fair)
  • A strong understanding of the media landscape and ability to land prominent media placements
  • Experience working with bloggers and influencers is preferred
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and be a problem solver
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must live within commuting distance of our Parsippany Office
  • Willingness to work in our NJ office and NY office for special events and meetings
