Infusion, Daily Life in Deal for Shampaw

Infusion Brands continues to expand its product line through a new licensing and distribution agreement with Daily Life, LLC, maker of pet products. This agreement grants Infusion Brands exclusive worldwide distribution rights for Daily Life’s signature product, Shampaw.

Under the agreement, Infusion Brands will launch the consumer pet products, featuring Shampaw, via direct-response programming. Infusion Brands is currently anticipating a second quarter on-air launch.

Shampaw is a dog-washing glove designed to clean your dog from the inside out, instead of just washing the surface like most other products and devices. The 38 water-jet nozzles built into the glove ensure your dog is free of debris, fleas and dander, while simultaneously massaging your dog.

Wendy Bellissimo Partners with AD Sutton for Diaper Bags

Wendy Bellissimo Media, Inc., and AD Sutton and Sons announced a licensing partnership for diaper bags designed by Wendy Bellissimo. The diaper bags will be marketed across multiple tiers of Wendy Bellissimo’s related brands and will range in price points to accommodate various retail channels.

Wendy Bellissimo has expanded her base of offerings from her beginnings in interiors to a broad range of juvenile categories, which include bedding, décor, apparel, gift, and baby gear.

Lionsgate Launches Fitness Channel for YouTube

Lionsgate has launched Lionsgate BeFit, a YouTube channel dedicated to all things fitness. The online destination is a one-stop shop for free programming with new and original shows that focus on the latest fitness trends, featuring top fitness trainers and brands. It includes programming from Lionsgate’s extensive catalog of fitness content including Jillian Michaels, Jane Fonda, Denise Austin, Deepak Chopra, and Tara Stiles as well as dance workouts based on Dancing with the Stars and Dirty Dancing. The channel features numerous workout styles including yoga, boot camp, Pilates, cardio, strength training, and complete workout systems.

The first original show to launch on Lionsgate BeFit was BeFit in 90, a new 90-day workout system, which includes a new workout playlist for each day. Lionsgate BeFit is already preparing to expand its slate of original content to include BeFit Club Hip Hop and Jane Fonda Prime Time Health.

Jazwares, MGA Entertainment in Deal for Lalaloopsy

Jazwares will develop the first line of Lalaloopsy electronics as part of a licensing agreement with MGA Entertainment. The partnership marks the first time that Lalaloopsy will enter the electronics category. Available in late 2012, Jazwares’ line will include headphones, speakers and an alarm clock as well as earbuds, a digital camera, and walkie-talkies.

The Go-Go’s Lead Vocalist Appoints Licensing Agent

Belinda Carlisle, Grammy-nominated vocalist and lead singer of The Go-Go’s, has appointed Lisa Berlin Wright of Tie In Pro as her exclusive licensing agent. Carlisle recently launched her debut home and lifestyle collection, Belindia, at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Inspired by her love of travel, the collection features blankets, throws, pillows, and tabletop items, including placemats, runners, and napkins. The new licensing program includes plans to develop unique products including textiles for other retailers and additional product categories such as yoga-, beauty-, and travel-related products.

A portion of the licensing program’s proceeds will be donated to various worldwide charities including Shuktara, a charity based in Calcutta, India, which provides care for abandoned children with disabilities.
