Firefly Brokers Party Goods Deal for Geronimo Stilton

Firefly Brand Management has signed an online deal with Prime Party for Atlantyca Entertainment’s popular Geronimo Stilton animated series currently streaming in the U.S. on Netflix, Amazon, and Kabillion platforms. Firefly is the North American appointed licensing agent for Atantyca Entertainment’s Geronimo Stilton Classic, Geronimo Stilton Animated and Bat Pat Animated brands.

Prime Party will design a line of Geronimo Stilton character party celebration products that include paper party good packs (plates, cups, napkins, centerpieces, table covers, jointed banners, favor boxes, invitations, thank you cards, large format party games, table-top standees, party room decor, and large format table top awnings).

Commencing summer 201, the products will be available online through ThinkGeek.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and PrimeParty.com

My Little Pony, Transformers Seal Deal for Benetton Fall/Winter 2018 Collections

Hasbro entered a multi-year deal with global fashion retailer Benetton Group for bring apparel and accessories. The first items launch later this year in United Colors of Benetton’s fall/winter 2018 collections. The collections include My Little Pony for infants and kids, and Transformers for infants and kids. Fashions inspired by several Hasbro brands will continue in Benetton’s spring/summer 2019 offerings and beyond.

The Hasbro collection will be available for purchase online and at United Colors of Benetton’s 5,000 stores in 120 countries.

Educational Insights Teams with Upright Citizens Brigade In Support of New Party Game, Sculptapalooza

Educational Insights (EI) has partnered with Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre to create original content, including a commercial, webisode, and instructional video, in support of the launch of EI’s party game, Sculptapalooza.

Founded by comedic giants Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, and Matt Besser, Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) is considered the grounds for scouting the best talents in comedy.

As part of the partnership, performers from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre hit the streets of New York City to play the game with unsuspecting men and women around town.

Beyblade Burst to Launch Mobile Game for Fall 2018

Epic Story Interactive is on board to develop a Beyblade Burst mobile game. The deal was brokered by Sunrights Inc. on behalf of Beyblade.

Slated to debut this fall with an initial rollout in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Beyblade Burst Rivals (working title) is a match-three puzzle battle game for iOS and Android based on the boy’s action property, Beyblade Burst, which follows the adventures of Valt Aoi, Shu Kurenai and the rest of the gang as they strive to become the world’s greatest Bladers.
The new Beyblade Burst Rivals app will allow gamers to choose their favorite characters and follow them on their quest to become a Master Blader as they enter Beyblade Burst tournaments, use rare and powerful Beys, and participate in battles.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Announces New Licensees

4K Media Inc., the Konami Digital Entertainment subsidiary that manages the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand outside of Asia, continues to expand its international inventory of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise through new licensing partnerships.

Mondadori launched the Italian version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Handbook, originally published by Scholastic, last month. The book is available in Italy, Vatican State, Republic of San Marino, and Canton Ticino.

caseable is producing a line of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters and Yu-Gi-Oh! Super Deformed electronic covers and cases, scheduled for release this summer in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Cotton Division (through 4K Media’s sub-agent MJA Licensing) is developing Yu-Gi-Oh!-branded apparel, sleepwear, bags and phone covers, available this fall in France, French DOM-TOM, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy and Portugal.

New Partners Swoop in for PJ Masks

Entertainment One (eOne) is adding seven partners to its fast-growing roster of licensees for its animated preschool series PJ Masks, which airs on Disney Junior and Disney Channel in the U.S..

Among the latest PJ Masks partners that will launch new product beginning this year are:

  • ASO LLC (antibacterial shape and strip bandages)
  • Colgate-Palmolive (oral care, including battery-operated and manual toothbrushes, and toothpaste)
  • DecoPac (edible photo cake and cookie decorations, U.S. and Canada)
  • Give & Go (baked goods featuring house-assembly and cookie-decorating kits)
  • good2grow (100-percent juice beverages in containers with character toppers)
  • Pez Candy, Inc. (character candy dispensers with candy)
  • Thermos L.L.C. (stainless steel vacuum insulated “FUNtainer” bottles and food jars)

Fred Rogers Productions grows its list of licensing partners for Tiger’s Neighborhood.

9 Story Media Group’s 9 Story Brands is further expanding the property’s reach across a range of consumer products categories, from ride-on toys and sound books to footwear, HBA, and more.

Fred Rogers Productions has also renewed agreements with Bendon for coloring/activity books and Happy Threads for apparel.
