The Koyo Store Secures Dragon Ball Z Collectible Rights

Entertainment merchandise specialist The Koyo Store has secured EMEA rights from Toei Animation Europe to create officially licensed collectibles based on the anime TV series Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super.

Created by Toei Animation the Dragon Ball Z television show first aired in 1989, and the franchise has since evolved to include TV specials, movies, soundtracks, video games, and merchandise. Its sequel, Dragon Ball Super, follows the adventures of protagonist Goku during the ten-year timeskip’ after the defeat of Majin Buu.

For the fans of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, The Koyo Store is developing a range of pin badges that celebrates the brands.

The initial Dragon Ball product line-up, available in-store and online from May, will encompass a range of collectibles based on characters and imagery from both series, including:

  • Character Pin Badge Collection – including Buu, Goku, Master Roshi, Piccolo, Saiyan Goku, Saiyan Vegeta, Trunks, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Krillin and Cell

Toei Animation is the latest IP owner to join The Koyo Store’s roster of partnerships for collectibles; other partners include HBO (Game of Thrones), Capcom (Street Fighter), Ubisoft (Rainbow Six Siege), Games Workshop (Warhammer 40,000), and PUBG.
