Sesame Street Taps Medialink for Licensing in China

Sesame Workshop has tapped Medialink Group as the licensing agent for Sesame Street in the Greater China region including mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. Medialink Group will manage the brand licensing of Sesame Street’s consumer products, build retail relationships, and work with local licensees to create cross-promotional activations in the respective territories.

Sesame Street‘s worldwide audience is made up of 150 million kids in over 150 countries, and 21.5 million YouTube subscribers. The show is available in Greater China on platforms Tencent, BesTV, SiTV, Mampod, and UKids.

Globally, the brand generates $1.4 billion in retail sales of its licensed products.
