Licensing Expo Virtual Announces 2021 Agenda

Licensing Expo Virtual

Licensing Expo Virtual released the agenda for its 2021 event taking place August 24-26.

To kick off on August 24, senior executives from Warner Bros. Consumer Products will deliver the live opening keynote address, entitled “Unlocking the Fan Power of Global Franchises.” It will be moderated by License Global magazine content director Amanda Cioletti and presented by WarnerMedia president of global brands and experiences Pam Lifford and WBCP senior vice president of global franchise management and brand product Robert Oberschelp.

Other live sessions include Digital Brand Roadshows, Sustainability Clinics, and Retail Education & Ask Me Anything sessions. On the second day of the event, attendees can tune into the finale of the License This! competition, which makes its U.S. debut this year. Produced in partnership with Licensing International and InventHelp, the finale gives select illustrators, designers, animators, and inventors an opportunity to pitch their concepts online to a panel of expert judges.

As part of the on-demand Licensing Expo Virtual content, Licensing U, produced by Licensing International, makes a return this year to support industry newcomers and anyone interested in honing their expertise. The educational program will offer multiple sessions that fall under three different tracks. The “Basics” track gives participants an introduction the the industry and how it works; the “Spotlights” sessions provide insight into the latest trends in key segments; and the “Tactics and Strategies” track explores current topics impacting brand licensing — including NFTs, sustainability, and supply chain.
