AGP Upps Silva
American Greeting Properties (AGP) announced the promotion of Carla Silva to senior vice-president of global licensing. A six-year veteran of the company, Silva is responsible for growth of the AGP portfolio abroad, including Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears. Silva’s promotion is part of a reorganization of AGP by Sean Gorman, president of AGP.
Silva previously served as vice-president of global licensing. Prior to joining AGP, Silva spent 13 years with United Media.
Beanstalk Promotes Reiner
Beanstalk has promoted Lisa Reiner to managing director of Europe and Asia Pacific. In her new role, Reiner will oversee all international operations, including business development and marketing, for Beanstalk and its newly launched digital division Tinderbox.
Reiner joined Beanstalk in 2001 as a director of brand management in New York, responsible for developing the global licensing program for the Mary-Kate & Ashley brand outside the U.S.
