Sesame Workshop has released a new episode in the recently debuted web series, Tamir on the Street, available exclusively on Sesame Street’s YouTube channel. The series stars eight-year-old Sesame Street Muppet, Tamir as he creates his very own YouTube-style show where he learns more about the friends and neighbors in his community by asking big questions. This upcoming episode will explore, “What are our friends’ family traditions?”
Alma’s Way, the newest animated hit series from Fred Rogers Productions, the award-winning children’s media organization behind multiple Emmy Award-winning series, has been greenlit for season 2 on PBS KIDS. The season 2 of Alma’s Way, created by Sonia Manzano (Maria on Sesame Street) and produced in association with Pipeline Studios (Elinor Wonders Why), is slated to premiere in fall 2023 and will consist of 25 half-hour episodes, including two 30-minute specials.

PBS KIDS and Fred Rogers Productions has announced that Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, the #1 animated series for preschoolers on PBS KIDS and first series inspired by the groundbreaking Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, will kick off its 10th anniversary year on September 3 with a marathon of “Top Ten Tiger Tales” on PBS KIDS. The special programming event was voted on by fans and will lead into the highly anticipated Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Season 6, featuring a week of all-new episodes, streaming free on PBS KIDS beginning September 5.
At the Television Critics Association Press Tour, PBS KIDS announced the premiere date for Work it Out Wombats!, a new animated series for kids ages 3-6 produced by GBH Kids and Pipeline Studios, starring a playful trio of marsupial siblings—Malik, Zadie and Zeke—who live with their grandmother, Super, in their treehouse apartment complex. Work it Out Wombats! will introduce computational thinking concepts that will help young viewers solve meaningful problems, learn flexible thinking and how to express themselves—all while using the practices and processes at the core of computer science. The new series will debut on PBS KIDS February 6, 2023.
