PowerTown Wrestling and its licensing agency All American Licensing and Management Group have announced a licensing deal with American Classics, a leader in classic entertainment properties in the apparel industry. This is the first licensing agreement announced since PowerTown appointed All American Licensing as its partner. The collection will feature a full line of apparel, from t-shirts and sweatshirts for adults to onesies for infants and toddlers.
PowerTown Wrestling is a new line of original collectible wrestling action figures composed of legends of the sport from the past eight decades. The brand successfully launched fall of 2022 with its Series 1 Ultras collection, featuring six iconic pro wrestling personalities: Verne Gagne, Lou Thesz, Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, Magnum TA, and Kerry Von Erich. Each seven-inch scale ‘Ultras’ figure is showcased with personalized accessories and ring-wear along with championship title belts. Ultras Series 2 line is already in development, with a fall 2023 release date.
“We are excited to partner with American Classics to introduce this line of apparel which we anticipate will be available online and at major U.S and Canadian retailers later this year,” says Steve Rosenthal, co-founder and managing partner of Relativity Worldwide, the parent company of PowerTown Wrestling. “This is the first of many such partnerships we anticipate this year as All American has leveraged its experience and relationships to start conversations with a wide range of potential licensing partners,” he adds.
David E. Brown, President of American Classics Inc says, “American Classics is thrilled to add PowerTown to our licensing portfolio. Being in the licensing industry for 29 years, we love to find unique properties that potentially can have a huge following. We believe we have found that with PowerTown and the team at AALMG! AALMG has been a great partner and we look forward to continuing to build with them in the future!
