This Christmas, Langham Place, in partnership with the iconic toy platform kkplus, is delighted to announce the launch of a groundbreaking festive experience with Cloudco Entertainment’s Care Bears property. Known for its vibrant and heartwarming message of sharing, caring, and friendship, the Care Bears will be boarding the “Care Bears Express” for their inaugural voyage in Hong Kong, creating an enchanting holiday spectacle.
“Care Bears have always been about spreading joy and love, and what better time to amplify this message than during the Christmas season,” says Charlotte Payne, Director of International Licensing at Cloudco Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to see the ‘Care Bears Express’ come to life in Hong Kong, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the world of Care-a-Lot at Langham Place.”
Through January 1, Langham Place has been transformed into a “Care Bears Express” Christmas station. This immersive installation features a dreamy pink and multicolored plaza, anchored by a 5-meter-high heart-shaped Christmas tree and a 2-meter giant Grumpy Bear, bringing to life a candy-colored Christmas fantasy. Over 30 different Care Bears characters will spread their magic throughout the venue, with more than 300 plush toys joining in the festive fun.
Visitors will look up to see a 4.5-meter Cheer Bear at the 8th floor, extending a sparkling rainbow ladder down to the station on the 4th floor, showering the atrium with warm holiday greetings. In an exciting collaboration for this large-scale Christmas endeavor, Langham Place and kkplus have curated a limited-time pop-up shop featuring over 100 exclusive collectibles, including the debut of Hong Kong’s first limited-edition Care Bears plush toys, Christmas decorations, and winter fashion items. This collection is a dream come true for Care Bears aficionados and fans.
The celebration doesn’t end there. Langham Place has meticulously crafted 10 whimsical photo spots for memorable Christmas snapshots. The “Care Bears Express” station will also feature interactive games, with high scorers winning charming Care Bears plush toys and a treasure trove of exquisite gifts. A range of exclusive Care Bears Christmas gifts and interactive areas are also ready to be explored, promising a festive and colorful experience for all.
Among the treasures available at the pop-up store are Hong Kong’s first-ever special edition Care Bears plush toys. These include the 9-inch ‘Care Bears Plush’ and the light blue ‘I Care Bear,’ which embodies the message of love and care symbolized by its rainbow and heart belly badge. These collectibles are perfect for sharing the holiday spirit with loved ones.
